Central Market is gearing up for its annual Hatch Chile Festival with a recipe contest, pork tenderloin sandwich classes, and a new chile-themed cookbook starting August 17. The festival, which spans two different weekends, celebrates the arrival of more than eight truckloads of the chile from Hatch, New Mexico. The festival runs Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23 and Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30.
