A craving for a barbecue pizza may be hard for a new vegan, or even one that's been vegan for a while. However, there is a solution: make your own! Of course, this may sound tedious but there is a simple way that can take just as much time as ordering delivery. A simple trip to the grocery store is all that's needed, along with about 20 minutes of your time. I prefer grilled chicken over barbecue chicken because, I think, I have found a really great spice rub that I use on the chicken, grill it to perfection, and eat it un-sauced. I like to use a spice mixture called "Ozark spice" that I purchase from a company called Penzey's. It is mostly a salt and pepper based blend with some other spices involved. This of course, is just my personal preference. I do however, also enjoy good barbecue chicken, and wouldn't turn it down.
